Find out how to recognize and report fraud and scams with relevant scenarios and step-by-step instructions. This session is especially for individuals that identify as seniors, or those that care for seniors, as there has been a steady rise of scams targeting this population.

About the Presenter

Kasey Hemphill is a member of Intel's legal department. She advises clients on cybersecurity and product security issues, including navigating complex regulations and responding to cyber and product incidents. Kasey is also passionate about supporting and empowering communities — she regularly provides pro bono legal assistance in areas such as criminal expungement and immigration.

Kasey co-hosts the "Lawyer and Layman Explain It" podcast, where she and her non-lawyer co-host Martin discuss legal and social justice topics, such as the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on marginalized communities that are heavily targeted for voter suppression and misinformation. Before working at Intel, Kasey was a trial lawyer at a global law firm, and previously clerked for a federal judge in Nevada.
